Papé Material Handling Opens State-of-the-Art Facility in Concord, California

Papé Material Handling has officially opened its new Concord facility as of May 8, 2024. The grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a BBQ lunch, and tours for guests. The expansion significantly increases the company's service capacity, allowing for the handling of larger equipment and providing new support to the Concord community.

"Our new Concord location is a milestone in Papé Material Handling's commitment to providing top-tier service and solutions," stated Chris Wetle, President of Papé Material Handling. The facility aims to elevate service standards in the material handling industry.

The new facility encompasses a total drip line of 42,865 square feet, with canopies covering 12,115 square feet and a spacious interior of 30,750 square feet. It features dual 5-ton cranes, larger doors for bigger equipment, increased operational capacity, enhanced electrical infrastructure, and additional vertical height for future expansions. The workforce is expected to grow from 40 to 55 employees.

The grand opening was attended by local dignitaries, including the mayor and city council members, highlighting community support. Papé Material Handling expressed gratitude to attendees and looks forward to serving the Concord community with its enhanced capabilities.
