ParTec AG Files Patent Lawsuit Against NVIDIA in Munich
ParTec AG has initiated a new patent infringement lawsuit against NVIDIA Corporation at the Unified Patent Court (UPC) in Munich. The proceedings, filed on August 8, 2025, involve collaboration with BF exaQC AG, the exclusive licensee and licensing agent for ParTec's patent portfolio.
The disputed patent pertains to microprocessors essential for AI-supercomputing in NVIDIA's DGX product line. ParTec, alongside BF exaQC AG, is pursuing an injunction to prevent NVIDIA from distributing these products across 18 European countries protected by the patent. The lawsuit also seeks information on NVIDIA's sales activities to date and claims for damages.
This legal action underscores ParTec's commitment to protecting its innovations in the supercomputing and AI domain.
