Pegasus Resources Identifies High-Grade Uranium at Energy Sands Project in Utah

Pegasus Resources Inc. has unveiled noteworthy findings from its sampling program at the Energy Sands project in Utah, with 13 out of 41 samples showing uranium (U3O8) grades above 1%. Notably, sample ESRS24-016 exhibited a 18.8% U3O8 concentration. CEO Christian Timmins highlighted this discovery as proof of the project's high-grade uranium potential. This advancement bolsters the company's strategy for drill target selection and permit applications.

During the exploration, the team utilized a handheld spectrometer, leading to significant discoveries in mineralized outcrops and historical sites. This work is critical for understanding the uranium and vanadium potential of the Energy Sands property. Pegasus is now preparing for a summer drill program, awaiting permits from the Bureau of Land Management.

Historical data from the United States Geological Survey reveals that between 1953-1956, the Energy Sands Project had a production yield of 51.8 tons, with grades of 0.373% U3O8 and 1.10% V2O5.
