Permian Energy Development Lab and Teverra Forge Strategic Energy Partnership

In an impactful move for energy sector innovation, the Permian Energy Development Laboratory (PEDL) and Teverra have announced a partnership aimed at advancing decarbonization initiatives. This collaboration marks a significant development for both organizations and the broader energy community, targeting the promotion of sustainable energy solutions.

Teverra recently secured a contract with Colorado for geothermal resource analysis and initiated a geothermal project in Alaska with federal defense support. The company has been recognized with awards from the DOE and NSF, receiving over $5M for its work in subsurface energy technologies. PEDL, on the other hand, has been focused on constructing a test facility in Texas that combines various advanced energy technologies, supported by a NSF grant intended to spark innovation in the region.

The partnership draws on Teverra's geothermal expertise and PEDL's comprehensive research network, aiming to pioneer advancements in areas such as subsurface energy storage and geothermal development. The collaborative efforts are expected to yield significant strides toward a decarbonized energy economy.
