PHOENIX Pharma Switzerland strengthens its position in Switzerland

PHOENIX Pharma Switzerland AG is consolidating its presence in Swiss public healthcare by consolidating its headquarters in the canton of Bern. Founded in 2021, the company has chosen Liebefeld to centralize its activities and those of its affiliated entities, including Pharmacies BENU SA, Pharmapost SA and health and life SA.

This strategic decision aims to optimize administrative and logistical resources, bring together around one hundred jobs in Bern and facilitate interactions with partners and customers. According to Martial Barbier, Managing Director, this centralization shows a strong attachment to the German-speaking region and supports the objectives of national expansion.

PHOENIX Pharma Switzerland is active in the import, distribution and sale of healthcare products through various entities. Its network includes 103 BENU pharmacies and a participation in the joint venture avosano SA with Voigt, covering pre-wholesaler and wholesale activities.

The company also stands out in e-commerce via health and life SA, which manages three online stores that attracted 2 million visitors in 2023. This solid business model allows PHOENIX Pharma Switzerland to intervene at all stages of the health product value chain.
