PhotonPay Secures $40M Series C to Enhance Stablecoin Financial OS

PhotonPay has successfully closed a $40 million Series C funding round, led by Blockchain Capital. New involvement from SBI Group and additional investments from IDG Capital, GL Ventures, and Lightspeed Faction mark significant support. The capital will aid in expanding PhotonPay's stablecoin-focused Financial Operating System (Financial OS).

The company aims to enhance its multi-asset wallet capabilities, global card issuance, and local clearing infrastructure. As of August 2026, PhotonPay recorded an annualized transaction volume of $65 billion, operating across more than 200 countries.

PhotonPay's Financial OS integrates stablecoin liquidity with fiat networks, facilitating corporate operations worldwide. The system offers businesses a comprehensive platform to manage and deploy funds, with operational support for local and cross-border transactions.

AI integration is a priority, with a focus on autonomous financial workflows and programmable execution. The new funding will further support clearing and compliance infrastructure across existing and new markets.
