PLANOPTIK AG Reports 2024 Financial Results and 2025 Outlook

Plan Optik AG has announced its final annual figures for 2024. The company reported a consolidated revenue of EUR 11,861 thousand, down from EUR 13,253 thousand in the previous year. This decline led to a fall in EBITDA to EUR 1,761 thousand, compared to EUR 3,075 thousand the prior year. Additionally, EBIT and EBT were reported at EUR 1,024 thousand and EUR 1,085 thousand, respectively, both showing a significant decrease from 2023. The net profit for the year was EUR 700 thousand, a drop from EUR 1,669 thousand in 2023.

The decrease in financial performance is attributed mainly to reduced inventories by major customers within a challenging industrial environment. Despite this, Plan Optik AG forecasts a possible revenue increase in 2025, expected to range between EUR 12.0 million and EUR 13.0 million. However, the forecast is contingent upon global industrial production and potential geopolitical influences. The company plans a modest rise in EBT, anticipating expenses related to market expansion and regulation.
