PNE Launches PPA Tender for Industrial Companies in Germany
PNE AG has initiated a process to sell 300 GWh of green electricity annually. This energy will come from nine of its wind farms and solar power plants. They are cooperating with Berlin-based energy consultant Enervis for this venture.
The tender invites industrial customers in Germany to submit price proposals for long-term power purchase agreements (PPA). The electricity portfolios range from 32 to 124 GWh per year. The green electricity generation will start in 2026, involving both current and future projects.
Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE AG, emphasizes that this step positions the company as a reliable partner for green electricity procurement. Roland Stanze, Head of Commercial Solutions at PNE, adds that this approach aims to expand their industrial customer base, benefiting both parties.
The tendering process, slated to begin in June, is expected to conclude by October. Enervis will support PNE in determining the terms and pricing during this period.
