Porsche AG Announces Executive Board Changes
Porsche AG has announced significant changes to its Executive Board, effective 26 February 2025. Jochen Breckner will assume the role of Board Member for Finance and IT, and Matthias Becker will become Board Member for Sales and Marketing. They replace Lutz Meschke and Detlev von Platen, who are leaving by mutual agreement.
Breckner, formerly in charge of Porsche's General Secretariat, brings extensive experience from his long tenure at the company. Becker, who headed Porsche's Overseas and Emerging Markets, helped expand these regions significantly.
Dr. Wolfgang Porsche, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed confidence in the new appointees, praised the outgoing members for their service, and highlighted their contributions. Meschke and von Platen have been pivotal in Porsche's transformation, with Meschke playing a key role in Porsche's 2022 IPO.
