Preservica Enhances Microsoft 365 Records Archiving and Digital Preservation
Preservica has announced updates to its Preserve365® solution for Microsoft 365. The enhancements include connectivity with Microsoft retention labels to automate archiving and digital preservation actions. New support for Microsoft's auto-labeling feature enables advanced archival disposition based on event triggers.
Stuart Reed, Chief Product Officer at Preservica, emphasized the need for automating compliance for long-term Microsoft 365 records. The integration allows clients to use existing Microsoft tools, eliminating the necessity for additional vendor-specific software. Future updates will include connectivity with Microsoft Power Automate and digital preservation for Teams.
Developed in collaboration with Microsoft, Preserve365 is available through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. It integrates archiving and digital preservation into the Microsoft 365 and SharePoint experience, simplifying compliance.
Preserve365 leverages Microsoft permissions and retention labels for large-scale compliance. It automates the archiving and preservation of critical records, minimizing compliance risks. Organizations using advanced retention features can now connect with Preserve365 for full automation without manual intervention.
Preserve365 matches Microsoft’s retention policies, ensuring consistent retention rules and timelines. The embedded Active Digital Preservation technology mitigates data obsolescence, maintaining records in readable formats for compliance, legal, and other needs.
