Promising Results from Exploration Drilling on Santa Cruz, Tintic, and Hog Heaven Projects by Ivanhoe Electric

Ivanhoe Electric Inc. (NYSE American: IE) (TSX: IE) has revealed significant updates on its exploration activities carried out in the states of Arizona, Utah, and Montana. The results include the confirmation of high-quality copper mineralization continuity in the Verde area of the Santa Cruz deposit in Arizona, as well as the discovery of porphyry-style sulfide mineralization in the Sunbeam exploration area at the Tintic project in Utah.

In the Verde area, drilling has confirmed the presence of high-grade soluble copper, with notable intercepts such as 6.43 meters at 5.99% total copper in drill hole SCC-150. Additionally, exploration at the Hog Heaven project in Montana has extended mineralization 150 meters west from the nearest drill hole, suggesting growth potential for the high-sulfidation epithermal system.

The results of the TyphoonTM geophysical survey at the Hog Heaven project will guide future drilling plans, indicating a potential expansion of the mineral system. Furthermore, exploration at Tintic is focused on the source of mineralization from historical mines, with several drill holes completed. Ivanhoe Electric's efforts highlight the untapped potential in the United States for the discovery of essential metals needed for the electrification of the economy.
