PSI Sells Mobility Business Unit to Altamount Software
Berlin-based PSI Software SE has announced the sale of its Mobility business unit. This transaction involves the complete transfer of PSI Transcom GmbH to Altamount Software GmbH, part of CHAPTERS Group AG. PSI Transcom GmbH, which specializes in mobility solutions for transportation companies, employs around 100 people. This sale aligns with PSI's strategic focus on industrial software for network and energy management, process industries, and logistics.
PSI is implementing its "PSI Reloaded" strategy, emphasizing an active portfolio management that aims for long-term growth in sales and earnings. This move is expected to allow for a more focused capital allocation moving forward.
The integration into CHAPTERS Group is anticipated to provide new growth opportunities for both customers and employees of PSI Transcom. PSI continues to position itself as a leader in software solutions for the energy and materials flow optimization since its founding in 1969.
