Q Battery Metals to Initiate Phase II Diamond Drilling at McKenzie East, Quebec

Q Battery Metals Corp., a company focused on exploration, has announced the impending issuance of permits expected in 1 to 2 weeks, which will enable the company to embark on Phase II of diamond drilling at the McKenzie East gold property located near Val d'Or, Quebec. This project phase includes the construction of 15 new drill pads with appropriate access routes.

Previously, Q Battery Metals conducted extensive surveys and a diamond drilling program from 2020 to 2021 that identified promising targets. The initial eight-hole drilling yielded notable gold results, including 1.185 grams per tonne over 1 meter. The upcoming Phase II drilling aims to further explore these findings, focusing on certain zones identified in the earlier efforts as well as new targets identified through continuous surveys.

In addition to the planned drilling at the McKenzie East property, Q Battery Metals is also preparing to investigate the southern section of the property, following up on potential gold-bearing quartz veins. However, the company cautions investors about drawing direct comparisons with adjacent property results, emphasizing the exploratory nature of their work.

The exploration efforts in Quebec are supervised by Dr. Mathieu Piché, with the oversight of Perry Grunenberg, P.Geo, a qualified person under NI 43-101 standards. Q Battery Metals maintains its focus on valuable and strategic metal targets within the province, holding a 100% interest in select mineral claims.
