Q Precious & Battery Metals Reports Significant Mineral Finds at La Corne South Project

Vancouver, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 9, 2024 / Q Precious & Battery Metals Corp. (CSE:QMET)(OTC PINK:BTKRF)(FRA:0NB) has announced promising results from core samples taken at their La Corne South project, indicating notable VMS-style mineralization. The samples from hole 24LCS-01 reveal substantial copper, zinc, silver, and gold content.

The significant downhole intercepts included 4.2% copper, 4% zinc, 0.17 ppm gold, and 30.3 ppm silver between 122.75 and 123.3 metres. Other segments also returned elevated levels of these metals, consolidating into a weighted average for the total mineralized zone of 0.83% copper equivalent over 25.45 metres.

Several samples from the same hole also showed elevated nickel levels, adding potential value to the findings. The core samples were analyzed by the ALS laboratory in Val d'Or, Quebec, with rigorous quality control measures in place.

The three drill holes were designed to test geophysical targets identified by QMET surveys, and the findings from hole 24LCS-01 support further exploration. The company awaits results from two additional holes to better evaluate the mineralization potential.
