Q.beyond Provides Managed Services in Energy Sector in Line with Critical Infrastructure Requirements

Cologne, 5 July 2024 – IT service provider q.beyond has commenced a 5-year contract to manage the critical IT infrastructure of Rosneft Deutschland GmbH. This partnership, under the trust management of the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA), involves migrating RDG’s IT systems within 10 months to uphold Germany’s energy supply.

The contract ensures that q.beyond operates RDG’s IT services from its high-security data centers in Germany, adhering to the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) standards for critical infrastructures. Services include SAP Linux operating systems and Microsoft applications.

q.beyond's CEO Thies Rixen highlighted the contract award as evidence of the company's expertise in managing high-security IT operations, particularly in the energy, public, and financial sectors. Rosneft Deutschland’s Managing Director Udo Giegerich praised the smooth transition and professional collaboration.
