Recticel's Solid First-Half 2025 Performance in Challenging Markets
In the first half of 2025, Recticel reported a notable revenue increase of 12.3%, with sales climbing from EUR 298.6 million to EUR 335.2 million. This growth was driven by robust performance in both Insulation Boards and Insulated Panels, despite flat or contracting markets. The company's adjusted EBITDA rose by 10.4% to EUR 27.7 million.
While most of the construction markets faced challenges, Recticel succeeded in expanding its market share, particularly in Benelux, the UK, and Central Europe. CEO Jan Vergote highlighted the company's commitment to operational excellence, leading to increased plant productivity and capacity.
The company is progressing with its strategic investments, including a new manufacturing facility in Tennessee and a recycling plant in Belgium. Despite writing off a EUR 11.5 million vendor loan related to their automotive interiors venture, the outlook remains positive with anticipated 10% YoY growth in adjusted EBITDA for FY 2025.
