Max Verstappen Overtakes 100 Karts in Red Bull's Spectacle

Max Verstappen, a Red Bull athlete and four-time Formula 1 champion, achieved an outstanding feat at Silverstone by overtaking all 100 karts in the "Max vs 100" go-kart race. Starting 101st, he completed this challenge on the 14th lap out of a total of 30. The event, held on a specially built grid, was live-streamed on Disney+ and the ESPN App.

Unique race rules stated a driver was eliminated when Verstappen's kart drew level with theirs. Notable participants included Red Bull athletes and content creators. Verstappen rose from the 101st starting position to the lead, setting a new benchmark by consistently decreasing a 12-second gap with his competition. He achieved the fastest lap, averaging a pass every 21 seconds, and finished in 35 minutes.

The event, presented by Mo Gilligan, can be rewatched globally on Disney+ and the ESPN App for subscribers, with a televised broadcast on ESPN2.
