The unveiling is scheduled for March 27, 2024, coinciding with the eve of Dodgers opening day.
Robert Vargas, known for his dynamic murals across Los Angeles, will depict Ohtani in action, both as a pitcher and batter, donning the iconic Dodgers uniform. The mural, spanning 150 feet in height and 60 feet in width, marks a significant addition to the city's cultural landmarks. Vargas, contributing his skills pro bono, aims to foster community spirit and Dodger pride through this visual homage.
