Revolve Acquires 30 MW Solar Project in Alberta
Revolve Renewable Power Corp. has completed the acquisition of a 30 MW solar development project in Alberta, Canada. This acquisition enhances the company's development pipeline in Canada. The project, first announced in September 2024, aims to reach "ready to build" status by early 2026.
The Alberta project comprises two phases—20 MW and 10 MW—located south of Edmonton. With a land lease agreement secured, the project has been under development for two years and is advancing in the permitting process. Expected revenue ranges from C$3.0m to C$5.0m annually, with EBITDA projected between C$1.8m to C$3.0m.
Revolve's CEO, Myke Clark, stated that this acquisition aligns with the company's strategy to grow its portfolio in North America. Revolve is increasing its operational capacity, building on projects like the Box Springs Wind Project and others across Alberta and British Columbia.
