BlackRock exceeds 5% of REXEL's capital
On January 28, 2026, BlackRock Inc. crossed the 5% threshold of both share capital and voting rights in Rexel. The asset management firm reported holding 14,822,320 shares, representing 5.01% of the share capital, on behalf of its clients. This increase resulted from a rise in the number of shares held as collateral.
The shares include 26,998 REXEL ADRs and 35,984 equivalent shares acquired through cash-settled, no-maturity contracts for difference. In addition, 316,866 shares originate from a securities lending agreement, and 94,777 are held as collateral. BlackRock retains the discretionary right to exercise voting rights on these shares.
