ROHM Unveils Scalable Power Supply Solutions for Automotive SoCs
On May 19, 2026, ROHM Co., Ltd., based in Kyoto, Japan, introduced a new configurable power supply solution aimed at automotive SoCs like ADAS and DMS. This solution combines the PMIC BD968xx-C Series with the DrMOS BD96340MFF-C to cater to evolving performance demands in the automotive sector.
The increasing need for efficient power supply designs follows the rise of domain architectures focused on domain controllers. These designs must support low-voltage, high-current operation alongside advanced power sequencing control. Traditional power supply architectures often struggle with customization, causing delays and complexity in SoC development.
ROHM's new scalable solution addresses these issues by enabling flexible adaptation across varying SoC power requirements, facilitating a wide range of applications and performance needs. All components offer high reliability, being AEC-Q100 qualified, and ensure efficient and reusable design.
