Rose Villa Senior Living and The Malden Collective Launch LiveWell Tech Accelerator

Rose Villa Senior Living, in partnership with The Malden Collective (TMC), is launching the LiveWell™ Tech Accelerator. This initiative, part of TMC's Innovation Hub, allows emerging companies to test new technologies in a senior living environment.

The first pilot is WalkWise, a tool that monitors resident mobility to reduce falls by up to 40%. The device attaches to walkers, canes, and wheelchairs, transmitting data without Wi-Fi. Rose Villa's CEO, Glen Lewis, emphasized the importance of innovation in senior living and the benefits of collaborative partnerships.

The Malden Collective's CEO, Barbara Kohnen Adriance, highlighted the opportunity for companies to prototype products with direct access to residents and facilities. Rose Villa residents and staff will provide feedback to improve user experience and technology.
