Rover Critical Minerals Signs LOI to Acquire High Purity Silica Asset

Rover Critical Minerals Corp. has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire a 100% interest in the Silicon Valley Silica Project near Golden, British Columbia. This project spans 1,760 hectares and is located adjacent to the Sinova Quartz silica quarry. Sampling conducted in 2017 indicated a high purity of 99.6% SiO2.

Judson Culter, CEO of Rover, highlighted that high-purity silica is crucial for the semiconductor and renewable energy industries. This acquisition strategically positions Rover in the growing critical minerals market. Moreover, the Canadian and U.S. governments recognize silicon metal as a critical mineral, opening avenues for potential funding.

Paddy J. Moylan, President and Director, noted that the Silicon Valley project has tremendous potential and aligns with the company's ESG goals. He emphasized the project's proximity to significant silica producers and announced that Case Lewis would join as the exploration manager.
