UBS Group AG Crosses Thresholds on RUBIS
Swiss company UBS Group AG recently crossed the 5% share capital and voting rights thresholds of RUBIS. As of May 12, 2025, UBS Group AG held 5.04% of the capital, or 5,207,104 shares. This crossing resulted from an off-market acquisition, negating the trading exemption.
Some of these shares are held indirectly through companies controlled by UBS, including "right of use over shares" and "long call options" contracts. The following day, UBS crossed this threshold downwards, holding 0.01% of the capital, with 12,726 shares, due to an off-market sale, reinstating the trading exemption.
