Saint-Gobain has finalized the acquisition of Bailey Group, a Canadian metal frame manufacturer for light construction, as announced on April 3, 2024. Bailey, established 75 years ago, reported revenues of C$532 million in 2023 and operates 12 manufacturing plants with around 700 employees across Canada.

This acquisition strengthens Saint-Gobain's presence in the Canadian market, enhancing its offering in sustainable construction. By incorporating Bailey, Saint-Gobain aims to provide a wide range of solutions that improve productivity and ergonomics on construction sites.

Bailey complements Saint-Gobain’s existing range in Canada, which includes interior and exterior solutions. Previous acquisitions, such as Kaycan in 2022 and Building Products of Canada in 2023, further support this strategic expansion. Saint-Gobain's revenues in Canada increased significantly from C$800 million in 2021 to C$2.3 billion in 2023, consolidating its market leadership.
