Saint-Gobain Expands Construction Chemicals Platform with Strategic Acquisitions
Saint-Gobain has announced the acquisition of three companies to boost its construction chemicals platform. The acquisitions include Interstar Materials in North America, Isoltech in Italy, and Soquimic in Peru. These strategic moves aim to enhance the group's technological capabilities and market presence.
Interstar Materials, established in 1987, specializes in pigments for concrete, offering vibrant and environmentally friendly solutions. Isoltech, an Italian company, is known for its lightweight concrete additives. Soquimic, based in Peru, focuses on concrete admixtures, complementing Saint-Gobain's previous local acquisitions.
Together, these companies generate approximately €25 million in revenue. They are expected to benefit from Saint-Gobain's resources, including Chryso's innovation and R&D, supporting the development of low-carbon materials.
