Samara Asset Group Releases First Bitcoin Bond Quarterly Report
Samara Asset Group p.l.c. has issued its inaugural quarterly report for Bitcoin bondholders and shareholders. As of December 31, 2024, the unaudited figures reveal a Net Asset Value (NAV) per share of €2.68, totaling approximately €245.2 million. The company deployed over €85 million into new fund investments throughout 2024, spanning sectors like AI, Biotech, and Blockchain, and holds roughly 540 Bitcoin as its main treasury reserve asset.
In November 2024, Samara raised €20 million through the Bitcoin bond, with 81% of proceeds invested in six new fund allocations; the remainder remains in cash and Bitcoin. The bond is secured against over €150 million in Limited Partnership stakes, displaying a secured Loan-to-Value (LTV) of about 13%.
CEO Patrick Lowry anticipates significant expansion in 2025 due to increasing adoption of disruptive technologies and Bitcoin. Samara plans to publish audited financial statements in the second quarter of 2025.
