Sarama Resources Launches Major Geochemistry Program at Cosmo Gold Project
Sarama Resources Ltd. has initiated a significant soil-geochemistry exploration at the Cosmo Gold Project in Western Australia's Eastern Goldfields. This marks the first major exploration at this site in decades, aiming to identify promising drill targets. The exploration occurs over their 580km² claim, part of larger belt-scale projects covering 1,000km² in the Laverton Gold District.
The program is crucial since the area remains largely unexplored. This soil sampling is expected to help uncover the potential for gold mineralization. Initial efforts focus on specific structural and lithological zones revealed in recent airborne geophysical analyses. Historically, surface samples have shown grades up to 52g/t Au, underscoring the site's prospectivity.
With experienced crews already in motion, this exploration has become feasible following recent agreements expanding Sarama's control in the region. Initial soil samples are set for analysis in two weeks, promising a new chapter in Sarama's exploration endeavors.
