Schletter Group Unveils Innovative Solar Carport System to Optimize Parking Spaces

Schletter Group, a leader in solar mounting solutions, introduces the Schletter SunRide, a modular solar carport system designed for maximum stability and space efficiency. Revealed on 7 March 2024, this system is now accessible in all international markets, offering single or double-panel configurations.

CEO Florian Roos highlights the system's design, emphasizing its one central support feature, which facilitates easier parking without the need for additional floor structures. This design allows vehicles to be parked in various patterns, optimizing the space available. The Schletter SunRide not only serves as a parking solution but also as a solar power generation unit.

Constructed from durable hot-dip galvanized steel, the SunRide can support framed and frameless solar modules and can be extended to a length of 50 meters as needed. The system offers flexible foundation options, including sleeve foundations and concrete anchors, ensuring minimal impact on existing parking spaces.

Additional features such as rain protection, lighting, and advertising spaces can be integrated into the system, tailored to specific requirements. Schletter provides a 10-year guarantee and static calculation for stability verification, aligning with national standards.

With over 15 years of experience in solar carports and around 90 MW of PV power installed worldwide, Schletter aims to support renewable energy generation and e-mobility expansion with the SunRide system.
