Semperit AG Holding Projects Decline in Earnings for Q1 2025

Semperit AG Holding, based in Vienna, has issued an earnings forecast indicating a significant decline in EBITDA for the first quarter of 2025. The company expects the EBITDA to drop around 50% in comparison to the same period in 2024, which recorded an EBITDA of EUR 23 million. This forecast reflects ongoing market challenges impacting the company's financial performance.

Despite the difficult conditions, Semperit anticipates a market recovery in specific regions during the second half of the year. With additional cost-saving measures, the company projects an annual operating EBITDA between EUR 70 million and EUR 90 million for 2025. The previous year's preliminary results reported an EBITDA of approximately EUR 85 million and an operating EBITDA of EUR 86 million.
