Semperit Increases Profitability in the First Half of 2024
In the first half of 2024, Semperit Group reported an 8% increase in EBITDA, reaching EUR 47.3 million. Earnings after tax more than doubled to EUR 9.6 million. Revenue was EUR 345.5 million, a slight decline from the previous year.
The company's cost-cutting programs, initiated in early 2023, reduced expenses by EUR 14.4 million. This contributed to a higher EBITDA margin of 13.7%. The guidance for 2024 EBITDA remains at around EUR 80 million, with medium-term targets set to reach EUR 120 million by 2026.
Free cash flow improved significantly to EUR 23.6 million, compared to EUR 1.8 million in the previous year. The company has a solid financial base with an equity ratio of 45.7% and EUR 124 million in liquidity reserves.
