Serrano Country Club Embraces Robotic Mowing with FireFly Automatix

FireFly Automatix, alongside Alliance Funding Group, has announced its first equipment lease for the Autonomous Mowing Platform (AMP) at Serrano Country Club. Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Serrano has recently invested $8 million to enhance its golf course, integrating FireFly's electric autonomous fairway mower into its operations.

Facing labor shortages, golf courses are turning to robotic mowers to boost productivity. The AMP enhances precision, improving playing conditions compared to traditional mowers. Leasing from AFG allowed Serrano to adopt this technology without hefty upfront costs, aligning well with the club’s renovation plans.

AGF, with substantial funding experience, offers efficient leasing processes, as praised by Serrano's finance director. The AMP frees staff for detailed tasks, receiving positive feedback for quiet operation. The innovation at Serrano is positively impacting the member experience and course aesthetics.
