SES and Sky Renew Long-Term UK and Ireland Partnership

SES has announced the extension of its partnership with Sky through a multi-year contract renewal. This agreement focuses on satellite capacity and back-up services from SES’s 28.2/28.5 degrees East video neighborhood. The renewal enhances their existing partnership, aiming to deliver satellite channel offerings to Sky Q subscribers in the UK and Ireland.

Under this new agreement, SES will maintain and expand satellite capacity, supporting Sky until 2029, and extending back-up services until 2027. This collaboration enables Sky to continue offering a reliable and comprehensive mix of channels to its Sky Q customers.

Representatives from both SES and Sky have expressed satisfaction with the renewal, emphasizing reliability and commitment to high-performance service. SES's satellites currently cater to over 17 million TV households in the area.
