Seyond to Expand LiDAR Solutions for Autonomous Vehicles with NVIDIA DriveWorks and Omniverse Integration

Seyond, a leading global provider of high-performance LiDAR solutions for autonomous vehicles and smart transportation, announced its collaboration with NVIDIA. This partnership will incorporate Seyond's leading LiDAR technology into the NVIDIA DriveWorks and NVIDIA Omniverse platforms, aiming to enhance the design, development, and testing processes of autonomous vehicles.

The collaboration will utilize NVIDIA's GPU hardware with Seyond's LiDAR to process point cloud data, enhancing autonomous driving capabilities. This integration makes Seyond's LiDAR technology available on the DriveWorks platform, facilitating easier and more efficient automotive design development. Furthermore, NVIDIA Omniverse will enable developers to integrate advanced rendering and simulation technologies into their 3D applications for autonomous vehicle development.

Seyond's flagship LiDAR sensor, Falcon, boasts a 500-meter detection range with 1,500 configurable scan lines per second, supporting precise object detection and classification. Notably, Falcon has been a standard configuration in several NIO models since 2022 and is integrated into Faraday Future's FF91 Futurist models, evidencing its high level of safety for autonomous driving.

Ezana Tesfu, Director of Business Development at Seyond, expressed the company's commitment to producing quality LiDAR solutions and looks forward to further collaboration with NVIDIA in developing intelligent autonomous driving applications. Seyond's inclusion in the NVIDIA Inception program highlights its role in pushing technological advancements in the industry.
