SFC Energy AG announces preliminary results for 2023 highlighting improved growth and profitability
SFC Energy AG, a specialist in mobile and stationary hybrid solutions based on hydrogen and methanol fuel cells, reveals preliminary figures for the year 2023. With a revenue increase of 38.6% reaching EUR 118.148 million and an adjusted EBITDA growth of 86% to EUR 15.158 million, the company surpasses its 2023 forecasts.
The adjusted EBITDA margin reaches 12.8%, significantly exceeding the levels of the previous year. Similarly, the adjusted EBIT more than triples, amounting to EUR 9.696 million. These performances are notably attributed to strong demand in the clean energy and energy management segments, as well as an effective internationalization strategy, with significant growth in North America and Asia.
The company also announces an increased order backlog for 2023 and projects sales growth of 20 to 30% for 2024, aiming between EUR 141.7 million and EUR 153.5 million, with an expected rise in adjusted EBITDA and adjusted EBIT.
SFC Energy continues to invest in its regional expansion and the development of its fuel cell technologies, positioning itself firmly in a rapidly growing sector.
