Siltronic AG Annual Meeting: Dividend of EUR 1.20 per Share Approved
During the Annual General Meeting on May 13, 2024, Siltronic AG reviewed the challenging financial year of 2023. Despite the weak demand affecting the semiconductor industry, the Munich-based company proposed a dividend of EUR 1.20 per share for the past year, amounting to a total distribution of EUR 36 million, representing about 20 percent of its group profit.
The meeting, which featured a physical attendance, approved all agenda items with a strong majority. Shareholders' representation reached 64.10 percent of the company’s share capital. The event highlighted forward-looking statements from CEO Dr. Michael Heckmeier, who acknowledged the ongoing market challenges but projected a positive turnaround due to technological trends and a new fabrication site in Singapore.
Dr. Tobias Ohler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, introduced Klaus Buchwald as the new COO. Starting June 2024, Buchwald will oversee operations, enhancing Siltronic’s growth and innovation in the semiconductor sector. Full details of the meeting and speeches are made available online for public access.
