Skyborn and Siemens Gamesa Secure Turbine Deal for Gennaker Project

Skyborn Renewables has confirmed agreements with Siemens Gamesa for the Gennaker offshore wind farm. These agreements cover the supply of 63 SG 14-236 turbines and their maintenance. The project will enhance Germany's renewable capacity with up to 976.5 MW.

The agreements, finalized in Hamburg, align with a Master Supply Agreement signed in June 2024. Installation is scheduled for early 2028. Skyborn's CEO, Patrick Lammers, highlights this as a key step toward Gennaker's commissioning, noting Siemens Gamesa as a trusted partner.

Marc Becker from Siemens Gamesa emphasizes the 3 GW capacity achieved through collaborations. Once operational, Gennaker will supply green electricity to approximately 1 million people, marking it the largest in the German Baltic Sea.
