SMTPC: Results for the first half of 2025 and changes in governance
The Société Marseillaise du Tunnel Prado Carénage (SMTPC) reported a 1.4% increase in its turnover in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching €19.117 million. This increase is due to the increase in fares, despite a 1.8% decrease in traffic, with 7,011,012 light vehicles using the tunnel.
Net profit amounted to €5.356 billion, up 15.2%, mainly due to the reduction in operating expenses. The Board of Directors recorded these results on September 29, 2025. In addition, Julien Thomas was appointed Chief Executive Officer, replacing Jérôme Havard as of June 2, 2025.
Net fixed assets decreased, mainly due to depreciation and amortization. Despite the decline in current assets, resulting from dividend payments and debt repayments, the company generated positive operating cash flow.
