SMTPC sees slight increase in revenue in the fourth quarter of 2024
Société Marseillaise du Tunnel Prado Carénage (SMTPC) recorded a turnover of 9.53 million euros excluding taxes in the fourth quarter of 2024. This figure represents an increase of 0.6% compared to the same period in 2023. This increase is mainly due to an increase in toll revenues which reached 9.12 million euros, compared to 8.92 million the previous year.
Vehicle traffic in the tunnel also increased, reaching 3,575,880 passages, an increase of 2.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2023. However, ancillary services saw a drop in revenue, from €0.55 million to €0.40 million.
Over the whole of 2024, traffic increased by 1.2% compared to 2023, reflecting increased use of the tunnel by users.
