Goldman Sachs exceeds 5% threshold at SOITEC
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. has crossed the 5% voting rights threshold in SOITEC through acquisition. The company holds 2,537,049 shares, representing 7.09% of the capital and 5.54% of the voting rights. The shares are distributed primarily between Goldman Sachs International (7.06% of the capital) and other affiliated entities.
This crossing is the result of an off-market acquisition. In addition, Goldman Sachs holds 1,267,616 shares through a securities loan with call, as well as call option and swap contracts providing additional indirect exposure.
These transactions strengthen Goldman Sachs' position, but the group remains below the significant threshold of 10% of voting rights.
