Sokoman Minerals to Vote on Spin-out of Vinland Lithium Shares
Sokoman Minerals Corp. is seeking shareholder approval to reorganize its share capital, facilitating the spin-out of 2 million of its 4 million shares in Vinland Lithium Inc. The shareholder meeting is scheduled for January 8, 2025, in Vancouver, though the date may change due to a postal strike. Similarly, Benton Resources Inc. will seek approval to spin-out 2 million Vinland shares. If both spin-outs proceed, the TSX Venture Exchange is set to list Vinland's approximately 10 million shares.
The Killick Lithium Project, held by Vinland, shows significant potential in a newly discovered lithium belt. Piedmont Lithium Inc. has invested CAD$2.0M into Vinland, gaining a 19.9% stake. Subject to earn-in options, Piedmont can acquire up to a 62.5% interest in Killick. Sokoman and Benton will maintain a 2% NSR on the project.
