Sonova Launches Phonak's First Rechargeable In-Ear Hearing Aid

Sonova Holding AG, headquartered in Switzerland, has introduced the Phonak Virto R Infinio, marking the company's entry into the rechargeable In-The-Ear (ITE) hearing aid segment. This new product, launched on August 12, 2025, aims to expand Phonak's product portfolio, starting its availability in the United States.

The Phonak Virto R Infinio offers a 15% size reduction from previous designs, featuring a custom fit with a high precision rate. The device charges fully in three hours, providing up to 30 hours of use. Enhanced by AutoSense OS™ 7.0, it offers improved environmental detection for better user experience, while SmartSpeech™ technology aids speech understanding in noisy settings.
