Southern Colorado Economic Development District Implements NewOrg Platform

The Southern Colorado Economic Development District (SCEDD), a key player in linking federal, state, and local government efforts for resolving economic development challenges across Southern Colorado, has announced the implementation of the NewOrg data management platform. This initiative aims to enhance various aspects of its operations including Stakeholder Management/Engagement, Grant Tracking, and Attendance Reporting.

SCEDD focuses on sectors such as Broadband, Workforce Development, and Affordable Housing among others to drive economic growth in both urban and rural locales. The adoption of the NewOrg Platform promises a more unified and effective approach in managing diverse services and stakeholder engagements across 13 counties.

According to Leslie Mastroianni, Executive Director at SCEDD, the NewOrg Platform was crucial for syncing their extensive efforts with stakeholder needs efficiently. The platform's capabilities include process documentation, comprehensive reporting, grant tracking, small business development monitoring, and more, facilitating a more refined and transparent operation model.
