Springer Nature Sets Final Offer Price at €22.50 Per Share
The final offer price for shares of Springer Nature AG & Co. KGaA has been set at €22.50 per share. This price values the company at approximately €4.5 billion.
A total of 26,650,795 shares will be placed with investors. This includes 8,888,889 new shares, 14,285,716 existing shares from funds advised by BC Partners, and 3,476,190 additional existing shares due to over-allotments. Springer Nature expects to raise €200 million in gross proceeds from the new shares, bringing the total offer size to around €600 million.
Post-offering, the free float is anticipated to be about 13.4%. Holtzbrinck Publishing Group and BC Partners will hold approximately 50.6% and 36.0% of the shares, respectively. The shares are set to commence trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on October 4, 2024, with settlement and closing expected by October 7, 2024.
