Sterling Metals Identifies New Copper Discoveries at Copper Road
Sterling Metals Corp. has announced the completion of a 3D Induced Polarization (IP) survey at its Copper Road Project in Ontario. This survey covered a 15 square kilometer area and led to the discovery of new copper sulphide mineralization. The findings align with IP survey results, highlighting the presence of high chargeability zones, essential in guiding future exploration.
New outcrop areas were discovered southwest of the Richards Breccia, showcasing samples rich in copper sulphides such as chalcopyrite and bornite. An extensive sampling campaign resulted in 134 samples, with analysis ongoing. Meanwhile, field mapping has extended the porphyry footprint from 2km to 3km with new massive magnetite veins.
Sterling has commenced a drone magnetic survey to enhance drill target identification. Comprehensive IP survey results are expected in December, paving the way for more detailed exploration. These developments mark a key advancement in understanding the project's mineralized zones.
