Sterling Metals Launches Drilling Program at Copper Road Project

Sterling Metals Corp. has announced the start of its first drilling program at the Copper Road Project in Ontario. The 2,000-metre diamond drill program, running until April, targets multiple high-priority zones to explore near-surface copper mineralization and its potential porphyry connection at depth. Key focus regions within the 30 km-wide project include areas with significant geophysical anomalies.

CEO Mathew Wilson highlighted recent political focus on Canada's underutilized copper resources. The project's location, 80 km north of Sault Ste. Marie, offers strategic accessibility via the Trans-Canada highway. This effort aims to uncover significant copper assets, a crucial resource for global energy transition.

The Ontario Junior Exploration Program awarded Sterling Metals a $200,000 grant for its exploration efforts, emphasizing the Copper Road's strategic importance. The company also announced stock option grants to directors and staff as part of their corporate update.
