Sterling Metals Unveils New Copper Targets at Copper Road Project
Sterling Metals Corp. recently completed a 3D induced polarization and resistivity survey at its Copper Road Project in Ontario, Canada. The survey covered a 5km by 3km area, identifying multiple high-priority, drill-ready targets. This suggests potential near-surface copper zones and a possible large-scale copper porphyry mineral system at depth.
The survey revealed several chargeable bodies and resistivity low anomalies associated with copper in historical drill holes. Sterling has focused its initial drill targeting on a high-priority 2.5km x 1.5km area. This area aligns with surface mineralization and the ZTEM survey's findings.
The company plans to test these targets in its initial drill campaign, aiming to explore the connection between near-surface zones and deeper porphyry centers. Sterling is actively developing a comprehensive exploration strategy, supported by historical data and recent surveys.
