STMicroelectronics and Qualcomm unveil advanced IoT module
STMicroelectronics announced its first wireless IoT module, the ST67W611M1, a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies. The module integrates Wi-Fi6 and Bluetooth 5.3 technologies, facilitating the development of IoT solutions for consumers and industries.
Featuring the Qualcomm® QCC743 system-on-chip, it easily interfaces with STM32 microcontrollers. Designed for rapid integration, it includes 4 MB Flash memory and Matter protocol. Security is provided by cryptographic accelerators and secure boot.
General availability of the modules is planned for the second quarter of 2025, with samples already available for major customers. This innovation strengthens STMicroelectronics and Qualcomm's position in the field of embedded technologies.
