Sto SE & Co. KGaA Reports a 1.5% Decrease in Turnover for Q3 2025
Sto SE & Co. KGaA, an international leader in building coatings, reported a 1.5% decline in group-wide turnover for the first nine months of 2025, compared to the previous year. Challenges such as high construction costs and geopolitical uncertainties impacted demand, particularly in Germany. The company's earnings remained stable, aided by strategic spending restrictions and a favorable product mix.
Turnover in Western Europe fell by 2.2%, largely due to declines in Germany and Italy. Conversely, Northern/Eastern Europe experienced a 2.3% increase. The America/Asia/Pacific region saw mixed results, with growth in Central and South America but stagnation elsewhere. Despite challenges, Sto maintains its 2025 forecast with expected turnover of EUR 1.57 billion and EBIT between EUR 51 and EUR 71 million.
