Carrefour and Vusion: Partnership for the Store of the Future
On February 18, 2026, Carrefour and Vusion announced a strategic collaboration to digitize stores in France by 2030. This partnership is part of the "Carrefour 2030" plan and integrates advanced technological solutions such as electronic labels and smart cameras to optimize the customer experience and in-store efficiency.
The agreement includes the installation of millions of connected labels and the use of AI to manage store shelves. Carrefour hopes this will improve supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. The deployment of this technology, already tested in the United States, marks a significant step forward in the digitalization of European stores.
This alliance also underscores the two companies' commitment to co-innovating and defining the technological standards for the future of retail. Carrefour is joining Vusion's Advisory Council to actively participate in developing solutions tailored to the needs of modern omnichannel commerce.
